It is designed for defining the level of total and conjugated bilirubin in the blood without inflicting any damage to skin in the process of measurement. It provides - Detection and monitoring of treatment of any type of jaundice. - Early detection of persons having become sick with infectious jaundice in quarantine groups (in Army, kindergartens, etc.), as well as at clinical checkup of population in the areas which are unfavorable for infectious hepatitis. - Postclinical checkup of patients with liver diseases. - Application in ambulance activity.
Operation modes - Several modes of application depending on bilirubin level: normal, increasing, and descending - Duration of measurement does not exceed several seconds. Each next measurement may be performed in 30 sec.
Medico-technical specifications Composition: non-invasive transcutaneous bilirubin analyzer ABChK-02. 2 reference templates and a set of gauges. The device is a superimposed photometer that measures the difference of logarithms of light reflection coefficients in two narrow spectral regions. One of these regions is located on the line of bilirubin absorption, where reflection coefficient is dependant on the bilirubin content in hypodermic tissues. The other spectral region is used as a reference – it is located in the place with no bilirubin absorption. Power supply: 6 batteries of AA type (ENERGIZER, DURACELL, or alike) placed in a special compartment. One set of batteries allows to perform up to 1500 measurements. Range of measurement : 0 to 400 mmoles/l; Weight (with no package) : 470gr. Contacts: Andrey P. Zakharov, dep43@siagat.ru Phone: (8 496) 48-440-48
